Biography

Victor Scholten is Associate professor and Director of the Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. Victor is leading the centre since 2016 and before he was been program manager of the MSc program Management of Technology at TU Delft and coordinator of the bachelor minor Technology-based Entrepreneurship. He has take the lead and been involved in many EU research projects. His expertise is with technology based entrepreneurship, the founding team and their networks, business modelling and business strategy. He has published his work in international journals such as Technovation and written several books.

Projects

EIT Health - Drive

This projects aims to help universities in RIS countries to implement entrepreneurial education programs for students and PhDs with a focus on building an entrepreneurial mindset among health academics. The educational programs will lead to more startups  being founded and entrepreneurial minds working in healthcare organisation and spur the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystems in those university regions.


EnvisionAlliances

ENVISIONAlliances will serve primarily to develop a novel learning framework that ensures the bringing together of private enterprises with researchers and academics, through the organisation of several matchmaking and networking initiatives with a focus on encouraging mutual learning, collaboration and joint-venture creation that combines the theoretical expertise of the researchers with the practical knowledge and skills of the experienced entrepreneur.



E3 Educators

Supporting university educators to develop their entrepreneurial skills through awareness, training and resources.

The Erasmus+ funded project E³ Educators targets HE educators across disciplines to enhance the impact of their teaching practices, by enabling them to develop entrepreneurial competencies and employ innovative pedagogies in their educational programmes.
