Profile
At Water Management Department of TU Delft, I am working on a project in which I will measure the moisture content of the soil with the help of biodegradable soil moisture sensor powered by bacteria charged paper batteries. This soil moisture sensor will help smallholder farmers from least developed countries who are not able to use currently available costly soil moisture sensors.
Research interests
Water resources,wireless technology,electrochemistry,microbial fuel cell.
Academic background
I joined TU Delft as a PhD candidate in December 2019.Before joining TU Delft, I was working as an Assistant Engineer in Water Resources Department ,Government of Maharashtra, India.I have completed my Master degree (M.Tech) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Roorkee) in Civil Engineering (with specialization in Geomatics Engineering) in 2014 and did Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Nagpur University, India in 2011.
