Profile

I am a PhD candidate in the Transport & Planning department at TU Delft, associated with both the Automated Driving and Simulation Lab and the Traffic and Transportation Safety Lab. My research focuses on driver confusion caused by vehicle automation and on evaluating human-machine interfaces. My daily supervisor is Dr. ir. Simeon Calvert, and my promotor is Prof. dr. Marjan Hagenzieker.
I completed my MSc in Mechanical Engineering (BioMechanical Design) at TU Delft, where I specialized in cognitive modeling of human-automated vehicle interaction. My thesis examined how human-driven vehicles interact with automated vehicles during overtaking maneuvers. My current research interests involve human-vehicle interaction within automated vehicles.
