Biography
I am Sara Cardona, a Ph.D. student supervised by Mathias Peirlinck and Behrooz Fereidoonnezhad in the Department of ME-BME, Biomechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
I was born and raised in Italy, where I completed my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Biomedical Engineering at the University Polytechnic of Milan. I also got a Master's Degree in the US at the University of Illinois Chicago.
I am in the first year of my Ph.D. aimed at building a Mathematical Framework of Cell-Tissue Interaction at the cardiovascular level.
