After completing my masters I started working at Immontec, a specialist in the field om immersed tunnels worldwide. As a design engineer I am involved in the entire process of constructing new tunnels
For my work as PhD candidate I am focussed on the existing immersed tunnels in the Netherlands. Currently in these tunnels large deformations are measured. My research is focussed on developing a model which is capable of describing these settlement, and predict future settlements.
