Profile
Pelin is a PhD candidate at the Transportation and Logistics group of Technology, Policy and Management Faculty. She obtained her bachelor`s degree in Industrial Engineering from Cukurova University and her MSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, Turkey. Pelin has two and a half years of experience as a research assistant. Her master thesis was about post-earthquake fire risk evaluation using different multi-criteria decision-making methods. She has published papers about different multi-criteria decision-making methods and their applications to real-life problems.
Starting in April 2022, Pelin began her PhD research under the supervision of Dr. Jafar Rezaei and Dr. Yousef Maknoon. Her research concerns time preferences in multi-attribute decision-making problems represented simultaneously by certain and uncertain attributes. This research investigates how decision-makers' judgements are affected by different probabilities and time intervals at different stages of MADM.
