Profile
Academic background
Michelle Winkelsdorf is a PhD candidate within the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. She is based in the Design, Organisation and Strategy Department and investigates the topic of design leadership, guided by the question how (design) leaders create meaningful innovation within an organisation and the broader ecosystem. Her research is shaped in close cooperation with Giulia Calabretta and Erik-Jan Hultink.
Michelle draws inspiration from her academic background in Economics and Design Management, as well as from her working experience in the field of consulting and corporate foresight. Here at TU Delft, she is happy to have found people with highly diverse backgrounds, who are united in their passion to make design meaningful.
