M. (Morteza) Moradi PhD
Profile
Morteza Moradi is a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).
Morteza received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kashan (Isfahan, Iran) in 2014, and his M.Sc. degree (with honors) in Aerospace Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) (Tehran, Iran) in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, he served as a research assistant at the Nondestructive Testing and Condition Monitoring Laboratory at IUST. During this period, from 2012 to 2020, he also worked part-time and full-time in various roles within the mechanical and manufacturing sectors, where his responsibilities included design, quality control, project control, and project management.
In 2020, Morteza joined the Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for Structures, Prognostics & Health Management at TU Delft as a Ph.D. researcher. He served as an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) in the ENHAnCE project, European Training Network in Intelligent Prognostics and Health Management in Composite Structures, a Marie Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN) funded by the European Commission (H2020). He obtained his Ph.D. with distinction (Cum Laude) at TU Delft in September 2024.
Research Interests:
Intelligent structures, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information fusion, Signal processing, Prognostics & Health Management (PHM), Condition-based Maintenance (CbM), Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Infrared Thermography (IRT), Acoustic Emissions, Composite structures, and Finite Element Modeling (FEM).
