Biography

Murali Krishna Ghatkesar received his M.Sc. (Electronics) from the University of Hyderabad, India, and his M.Sc. (Engineering) by research in Instrumentation from Indian Institute of Science, India. He was awarded Ph.D. in Physics with  summa cum laude  (highest honors) from the University of Basel, Switzerland. He was a postdoc researcher at the Physics Department, California Institute of Technology, USA. Subsequently, he was a research associate at the Chemistry Department, University of Virginia, USA. Presently, he is Associate Professor at the Department of Precision and Microsystems Engineering (PME), Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime, and Materials Engineering (3mE), TU Delft, The Netherlands.
