M. (Marina) Alves Maia MSc
M. (Marina) Alves Maia MSc
Profile
Biography
Marina received her bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal do Ceará in 2017, where she also obtained her master's degree in 2020. Her research interests focused on composite materials (laminated and functionally graded materials) and optimization algorithms. In her master's thesis, Marina explored the use of machine learning techniques to support and speed-up the optimization of composite structures. She started her PhD research in "Physics-informed machine learning material surrogates" in 2021 at TU Delft.
