Jinyang Zhao was born in Shenyang, China. She received a BSc degree and a MSc degree from Department of Control engineering, Jilin university in 2017 and 2020, respectively. She is currently puesuing her PhD degree at Traffic and Transportation safety lab (TTS) at Delft University of Technology under the supervision of Prof.dr. ir. Serge Hoogendoorn and Dr. ir. Haneen Farah. Her research topic is on the interaction bahaviour between automated vehicles (AVs) and cyclists.Specifically, from the perspective of AV's passengers and cyclists, it is analyzed that crossing behaviors at intersections and roundabouts, as well as overtaking behaviors on high-conflict roads.
