Profile
I'm a former academic researcher who is now providing all-round support to the TPM Department of Values, Technology & Innovation (VTI). This includes content development for the department's website, creating & maintaining WordPress websites, and the design of infographics about the department's research. I work part-time for the TU Delft, and combine this with freelance work for non-TU Delft academics and other universities.
Research interests
When I was still an academic researcher, I worked at the intersection of the following topics/fields:
- ethics of technology
- design for values
- the capability approach
- responsible innovation
Academic background
I have an engineering degree in Technology & Society from Eindhoven University of Technology, and a bachelor degree in Philosophy from Utrecht University. In 2013 I got a cum laude doctoral degree from the section Ethics/Philosophy of Technology at Delft University of Technology.
