Biography
Dr. Dimitrios Zarouchas is an Assistant Professor in the Structural Integrity & Composites Group. His research focuses on artificial intelligence for composite structrures, prognostics and health management. Dimitrios leads a team of 10 researchers and he has published more than 60 papers in peer reviewed journals and international conferences.

My area of research covers the application of artificial intelligence strategy for composite structures. More specifically:
1. Prognostics & Diagnostics of composite structures
2. Structural Health Monitoring techniques
3. Machine learning & advanced data analytics
4. Probabilistic data driven methodologies with uncertainty quantification
Biography
Dimitrios is an Associate Professor at the Aerospace Engineering Faculty of Delft University of Technology.
He leads the PYTHIA team: Artificial Intelligence for Structures, Prognostics and Health Management, part of Aerospace Structures & Materials Department and he is the founder of the
Center of Excellence in AI for structures.
The focus of the team is the research, development and deployment of intelligent systems for enabling real-time diagnostics and prognostics of lightweight structures used in aviation, space, wind energy and naval industries.
