Profile
Cees van Beers is a full professor of Innovation Economics and Innovation Management. He holds a doctorate in economics (Ph.D.) from the Free University Amsterdam, and – before becoming a full professor – he worked as an assistant professor at Leiden University and as an associate professor of innovation economics at TU Delft. Cees has also done research work.
Relevant research fields:
1. Impact of environmental policies on trade flows and competitive positions of firms (1992 – 2000);
- Impact of government policy failures on environmental damage and sustainable technology development (1998 – now)
- Determinants and management of (frugal) innovations and how they contribute to organizational performance, economic growth, and transformation (2013 – now).
