Biography
Bram Stegeman finished his bachelor in Civil Engineering in 2008 at the Christelijke Hogeschool Windesheim. In 2009 he continued with the master Water Management at the faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences in Delft, specializing in sanitary engineering. His master thesis focused on determining a hydraulic fingerprint of a sewer system, including known in-sewer defects,. After his graduation in 2012 he started working at Witteveen+Bos in Deventer as a project engineer, he developed into a project manager in the Urban Drainage and Monitoring division as well. During his job he participated in various projects in the field of sewer system optimisation, measurement campaigns, monitoring networks, urban drainage modelling, validation and calibration. In February 2017 he started as a PhD candidate at the Delft University of Technology, Department of Water management, section Sanitary Engineering. His research focuses on Geo-Electrical Sewer Leak Detection, Quantification and Location.
