Biography
Alberto Reques is an architect and PhD candidate in the Borders and Territories research group at the Architecture department of TU Delft.He studied architecture in Madrid and holds a MSc in Advanced Architectural Projects (MPPA), with specialization in theory, criticism and landscape, from Madrid’s School of Architecture (ETSAM). After undertaking different professional experiences in Germany and Norway, he founded the architecture office tuungoo arquitectos. Since 2016, tuungoo arquitectos has been developing residential and public projects on a variety of scales, some of which have being published in different media.
Alberto has been granted research scholarships by “Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando – Fundación Arquitectura COAM” and "HNA Foundation". His doctoral research entails the territoriality, materiality and imaginaries of contemporary underground infrastructures.
