Profile
Biography
Since his undergraduate days, I dedicated my studies to materials science obtaining two degrees in Chemistry and Materials Engineering at the University of Seville. I had the opportunity to be an intern for two consecutive years in the Chemical Engineering Department, an enriching and fulfilling first contact with academic research. I continued my university studies with a Master’s degree in Composite Materials at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. My professional career has been focused on aerospace grade carbon fibre reinforced composites.
Professionally, experiencing roles as composites manufacturing and qualification engineer in the aerospace sector allowed me to consolidate my academic background and gain professional expertise in the field. Currenty, I am PhD candidate at Technical University of Delft, working on developing and improving automated manufacturing technologies for carbon fibre composites for the wind energy sector.
