Biography
Marco is a structural engineer with a background in building technology. After graduating in 2004 at TU Delft, faculty of Architecture, Marco decided to pursue a career as a structural engineer, working at companies like Royal HaskoningDHV and ABT on a broad scala of building projects, like the Markthal in Rotterdam and the RTM Stage extension of Ahoy in Rotterdam as well.
Since 2020 Marco is involved with the Structural Design & Building Engineering group at the faculty of Civil Engineering on a parttime basis, alongside his position as a project lead Structural Engineering at Zonneveld ingenieurs in Rotterdam. At CiTG he's involved with supervising Master students during their graduation, as well as several courses related to Building Engineering (Building Structures, MEGA, the new MSc curriculum).
