These robots cannot manage without human intervention, however: behind every successful robot there’s a human being. A strong foundation for operating robot arms and robot vehicles is haptics: our innate ability to feel our body.

The Metropolitan Region of Rotterdam/The Hague (MRDH) is joining TU Delft, the Holland Rijnland region, the municipalities of Delft and Katwijk, TNO and the Province of Zuid-Holland to invest in field-lab research into 5G applications.

Andy van den Dobbelsteen, hoogleraar Climate Design & Sustainability aan de Technische Universiteit Delft. Van den Dobbelsteen wordt de onderscheiding toegekend vanwege zijn jarenlange voortrekkersrol op het gebied van duurzaam bouwen en voor zijn opvallende aanwezigheid in het klimaatdebat.

Following the VPRO Tegenlicht documentary Deltaplan Hydrogen TU Delft, Lijm & Cultuur and The Green Village organised the Tegenlicht Meet-up on February 12, attended by 300+ people. There was a lively debate amongst researchers, such as Prof. Ad van Wijk, prof. Andy van den Dobbelsteen and prof. Fokko Mulder about the role of hydrogen in the entire energy transition. Stephan Brandligt, alderman of the municipality of Delft and Albert van der Molen, Stedin, also participated in the debate.
