On campus, TU Delft offers their students internet access via the wireless network: Eduroam. In addition, Dastud is available for employees. Please make sure to always use one of these networks. Both are secure and only accessible with a NetID. The traffic between your wireless device and the equipment of TU Delft is secured with the most modern techniques. Eduroam is even available internationally at other educational institutions around the world.

Public networks are useful to quickly check e-mail or social media. You run the necessary risks with this. All your internet traffic can be intercepted via these networks - including any passwords you enter. Stay alert for fake public networks that resemble public networks.

If you cannot avoid the above and use public network, make sure to only use known and secure websites. These can be recognized by the web address that starts with "https".
