Sara Shoghi
I am a Data Steward at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where I ensure the implementation of robust data management practices. Prior to this role, I worked at the Leiden University Medical Center as a data manager and R specialist, focusing on crafting scripts for efficient data wrangling and database management. I did a PhD in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology at the University of Groningen. With a background in Linguistics, I used neuro-cognitive measures such as EEG to study cognitive processes involved during language comprehension. Beyond my academic endeavours, I am deeply committed to equipping researchers with essential skills in data and software management, guiding them in leveraging open-source tools effectively. Additionally, I provide consultation aimed at fostering FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles and promoting open science practices within our academic community.
