Gauri
Gauri is a PhD candidate working on the project for designing novel material for the 99Mo/99mTc radionuclide generator, and optimizing 99mTc extraction following irradiation. Presently the generators used produce a large amount of radioactive waste, to overcome this problem, she has took up the challenge to design this generator such that it will be possible to reuse the same material for many irradiation cycles, and greatly reduce long-lived radioactive waste currently generated during 99Mo production.
