Max Seling
Max Seling is a PhD candidate in the Transport Phenomena (TP) group of the department Chemical Engineering. He works on the Vidi EmotION Project which aims to develop highly selective thin film composite membranes for applications in flow batteries and CO2 electrolysis. The main focus will be on anion exchange and bipolar membranes.
Max did his Bachelor's degree (Chemistry) and Master's degree (Technical Chemistry) in Graz, Austria and did an ERASMUS semester on Madeira Island, Portugal. His master thesis research was done in cooperation with JOANNEUM Research on development of PVDF-TrFE based inks for printable electronics and polymer nanoparticle synthesis. The thesis was part of the EU-funded SYMPHONY research project.
