Dies Natalis TU Delft | 180th anniversary | Energytransition | 14 January
14 January 2022 16:00 till 17:00 - Location: Aula, TU Delft - By: Teaching Academy | Add to my calendar
On 14 January 2022 we celebrate our 180th anniversary. To mark the occasion, we want to highlight our role in the energy transition. Ongoing research, new lab initiatives, educating engineers for a sustainable world, together with our innovation partners: all our efforts are geared to accelerate the energy transition. It is a complex and interconnected challenge, but that is all the more reason to give it our all. We’re speeding up the energy transition to create impact for a better society. The ultimate goal: a clean, affordable, safe and reliable energy system in order to hold climate change in check.
You are cordially invited to join our hybrid Dies Natalis celebration starting 14 January at 16.00.
With a dazzling programme, we will take you through the past, present and future of our extraordinary organisation. We will also guide you through the what, how and why of the energy transition. As TU Delft, we have a special responsibility to use our knowledge to make the world a better place. While knowledge is our gift to mankind, we cannot create impact on our own. We do it together, with our stakeholders and our Delft community.
This is how TU Delft Campus becomes the Home of Innovation, a dynamic place full of creativity and constantly evolving. Look forward with us to the rest of the year and to a future that will be shaped by new generations of Delft engineers. With our Dies Natalis celebration we also kick off 180 days of anniversary activities.
