Stjepan Picek is a new tenure tracker in our Cyber Security Group. He works for Pieter Hartel.
“I work on a number of topics within the security domain: cryptography, machine learning and optimization. I like combining Artificial Intelligence with Security to be able to find and combat new types of attacks. I started working in this field as a PhD student and I have done two post-docs at KU Leuven and MIT. Now I am ready for the next step in my academic career and I am happy that TU Delft took me on board. Although it is not official yet, I will probably teaching the new course in Systems Security too, alongside the many projects in Adversarial Cyber Security I will be working on as a researcher.”
