Programme Open Campus Days 17 and 18 October 2024 from 9 AM to 5.15 PM.
All Bachelor's programmes open their doors during the Open Campus Days. Different activities can be followed in the faculties, such as presentations, workshops, lectures, guided tours and much more. Below you will find an overview of the programmes that are taught in English. For a full overview of all the programmes, please switch to the Dutch language website. You can design your own programme out of all of the activities we offer.
Please note: Keep in mind that the distance between the buildings can be large, sometimes up to a 30-minute walk. The campus has good cycling and walking paths. The accessibility by public transport is good. Public transport buses run across the campus and you can use the free bicycles that are available to get to the various locations. There are few parking spaces, so we advise you to make use of public transport to visit us.
Aerospace Engineering

Get a feel of what it's like to be an Aerospace Engineering student during this workshop. Our students will help you get your hands dirty by solving some equations around an airfoil. The workshop lasts approximately 45 minutes.

During this tour you will be guided by an Aerospace Engineering student through some of the facilities we have here at the faculty.

This mini workshop gives a sense of how you, as a Computer Science and Engineering student, get started with different assignments. Which methods do you use to achieve a good result? You can ask questions and experience what it is like to be a computer science and engineering student at the TU Delft EEMCS faculty. The workshop lasts approximately 45 minutes.

During this programme presentation, we will tell you more about the content of the bachelor programme Earth, Climate and Technology. What is the workfield? What kind of challenges do the engineers solve and how is the bachelor programme structured? The presentation will be given by a lecturer and student of the BSc programme. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Tip: After the presenation you can join a short lab tour! The presentation lasts approximately 45 minutes.

During this follow-up activity, we will zoom in at our role in tackling challenges like climate change and the energy transition. How can we monitor the effects of climate change? And how can we secure our sustainable energy supply? Bring your phone to participate ;-). The session lasts approximately 45 minutes.

During the day, it's possible to join a guided tour to one of the labs. Visit for example the mircoscopic room and take a look at different kind of rocks and minerals. Professors and students of the programme happily share their enthusiasm with you during this visit! Ask for the possibilities at the information market of Earth, Climate and Technology. You can easily join a tour after the presentation and be back in time for the interactive session (or the other way around).

You can drop by at the information market in the faculty's main hall all day. Here you can taste the atmosphere, and talk to students of the programme. They can best tell what it is like to study Earth, Climate and technology. It's also possible to join lab visits from the information market.
