DelftBlue contact group
The DelftBlue contact group forms the institutional core of the TU Delft high Performance Computing community. In close contact with the system administrators (ICT), this group of colleagues facilitates the day-to-day usage of the machine by informing and educating (prospective) users, conveying their needs to ICT and the DHPC Advisory board, and addressing issues of fair usage. Within reasonable bounds the group gives advice on topics like programming, code parallelization and optimization, but does not engage in software development.

Each faculty that holds a share of the DelftBlue supercomputer will be represented by one 0.4 FTE position, that may be shared by two people.

The group has three main tasks.
•    Organizing the use of the available resources (e.g. CPU and GPU hours, scratch storage) within the faculty by reviewing requests for access to the faculty shares and contacting users in case of over-using these shared resources. Applications that exceed the capacity of DelftBlue may need to be referred to SURF or PRACE.
•    Monitoring the user community on campus and online via e.g. mattermost and the info-DHPC@tudelft.nl mailbox. From this monitoring, advice should emerge on the future extension and development of the hardware and software we provide.
•    Organizing and delivering HPC training and education. Training includes providing documentation and self-learning material and regular workshops on the use of DelftBlue in general and special topics such as programming models and specific software packages.

DHPC Advisory board
Consists of scientific director DHPC Martin van Gijzen and scientists: Bert Sluijs (CEG), Bendiks Jan Boersma (ME), Bernd Rieger (AS), Alan Hanjalic (EEMCS), Stefan Hickel (AE), Jan Kwakkel (TPM), Jantien Stoter (BK) and Jun Wu (IDE). Their main task is the coordination and integration of service supply and demand between the scientific community and DHPC.

DHPC Supervisory board
Consists of the dean of EEMCS Lucas van Vliet, dean of ME Fred van Keulen, scientific director DHPC Martin van Gijzen and the ICT director Erik Scherff. The board approves the Centre's long-term strategy and updates and periodically evaluates the performance and impact.

DCSE
The TU Delft Institute for Computational Science and Engineering (DCSE) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) are jointly working on the development of DHPC. The DCSE institute connects all researchers within TU Delft who are actively using and developing computational methods for use in Science and Engineering applications. All eight faculties, more than 45 research groups and three hundred faculty members are part of DCSE. Over 250 PhD students perform research in the field of computational science and engineering. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is a multidisciplinary application-oriented field that brings together applied mathematics, engineering and (social) science.
For more information about DCSE visit the website.

Support from ICT Shared Service Centre
The Shared Service Center ICT (SSC-ICT) facilitates the infrastructure for supercomputer DelftBlue. The internal specialists also carry out the operational and technical management. DelftBlue is located in one of the data centres on campus.
