TTS Lab Webinar: Studying driver behavior, driver variability, and user characteristics to improve traffic models and tools
Social interactions between human and machine drivers
To integrate automated vehicles (AVs) into our transportation network, we should think ahead of how human road users will interact with them on social roads. Problematic human‐AV interactions might increase traffic risk and hinder AV adoption. The speaker will report empirical investigations of certain issues in the future mixed‐traffic, including driving aggression, driving anger, and driving etiquette, and their psychological underpinnings.
Scheduled time:18 May 10.00 – 11.00 CET.
