Education

Education

TU Delft | Campus The Hague aims to convey a specific, new engineering profile: an engineer who is systems-thinking, policy-conscious and able to apply technological knowledge to solve societally complex problems.

MSc Engineering and Policy Analysis (EPA)

The central aim of the EPA programme is to support public policy-making with advanced analytical methods. EPA primarily focuses  on grand challenges, such as the energy transition, climate change, the potential of AI for policy, global water shortages, cyber security and urbanisation. These challenges all have both technological and societal components and thus require a systemic view. EPA students bring such a systemic view to their recommendations for decision-making on interdisciplinary challenges involving multiple stakeholders

Two new master's programmes

In the coming years, in addition to our MSc Engineering and Policy Analysis, we will develop two new MSc programmes at our Campus in The Hague. These programmes will focus on societal challenges in the areas of digitalisation, security, climate change and the energy transition. These programmes are essentially transdisciplinary, meaning they are interdisciplinary in nature and developed in close cooperation with our crucial stakeholders in the public domain.

From 2026, the university building Spui will become the home base for all TU Delft programmes in The Hague. At this new location, we are striving to create a vibrant campus, where the space and programming of activities contribute to inspiring encounters and valuable knowledge exchange, and where study, research and application go hand in hand.

Lifelong learning

In addition to regular education, we also actively address our societal responsibility to provide Lifelong Learning (LLL) with (tailored) courses for public professionals in our Academy for Public Professionals.
