TU Delft climbs QS World University Ranking
TU Delft has moved up fourteen places in the new QS World University Ranking, rising from the 61st to the 47th place. It is the highest rank attained by TU Delft so far, putting it in the top 4% of universities appearing in the QS Ranking.
QS evaluated nearly 3,000 universities this year, 1,500 of which appear in the final list. The rankings were revamped for the 20th edition, with QS expanding the usual set of parameters (academic and employer reputation, citations, student/staff ratio, international students and staff) and adjusting the weighting . Among the new parameters are sustainability, employment outcomes and international cooperation, with the new ranking method boosting TU Delft's rank.
The QS Ranking is among the world’s leading university rankings, along with the Shanghai Ranking and the THE ranking. Each of these rankings is put together differently and has its own strengths and weaknesses.
