On the first of October the Applied Physics Makerspace was officially opened. Since the curriculum revision of the BSc Applied Physics, with a focus on design education, having such a space, has been a wish of the programme.
This new Makerspace, is a place where students can tinker and build prototypes. A milling machine, 3D printers, soldering stations, applied physics students now have a workshop space equipped to the hilt. In the below video, Freek Pols shows what you can expect here.
