Willem van Valkenburg and Marja Verstelle winners of SURF Education Awards 2020

Willem van Valkenburg (TU Delft) & Marja Verstellen are two of the winners of the SURF Education Awards 2020. Every year, the organisation awards prizes to give educational innovators a platform to increase their impact and reach and to inspire others. Willem is co-founder and director of the Extension School for open and online education at TU Delft. He breathes education, according to his colleagues. For 25 years Marja Verstelle has been building bridges for innovation and education in a variety of roles. Currently as quartermaster and project manager for the strategic alliance of Leiden University, TU Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
