Winners Innovation Prize 2020

The winner of the Topsector T&U Innovation Prize 2020 - Unmanned Growing Concepts is Sigrow! They impressed the jury with their Stomata Camera that can detect the state of a plant’s stomata; a crucial link in the control loop for autonomous growing. They win a voucher worth €25.000,- to further develop their concept with the help of Technische Universiteit Delft, personal guidance from an innovation broker of the Topsector Horticulture & Starting Materials, and a feature in KAS Magazine.

Vivent SA received the most public votes for their sensor technology that can detect a plant’s electrical distress signals at a very early stage. They win the audience prize and take home €1.500 in cash and a feature in KAS Magazine.
