Man Jiang
Profile
Man Jiang has an interdisciplinary study background. She studied geomatics during her Bachelor degree and did research on coastal sediment dynamics during her Master degree in China. Now she is a PhD candidate of Hydraulic Engineering at TU Delft, the Netherlands.
Research
She is exploring the interface between civil engineering (design of ports and waterways) and maritime technology (ship design, production & operation) and deriving mathematical relations describing their interaction, to develop an internationally applicable method to apply those relations on different water transport networks, inland as well as sea going, to illustrate the impact of alternative strategies of energy transition.
