Summer School on Circularity in the Built Environment

3rd Summer School on Circularity in the Built Environment

The 40 Million City: exploring the potential of the Eurodelta Region toward the transition to a CBE

The Circular Built Environment Hub (CBE Hub) of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft hosted the second Summer School on Circularity in the Built Environment from 8 to 10 July 2024. Students from all levels of education (BSc, MSc) as well as PhD researchers and professionals participated.

Our focus has been on the Eurodelta region and its potential to contribute to the transition toward a circular built environment. Over the course of the three days, we worked together with partners of the recently awarded ASSET Interreg project (A Spatial Strategy for the Eurodelta: Boosting a Circular Built Environment) to analyse existing circular practices in the Eurodelta area and use them to trace the dynamic flows of resources and the multiple actors’ synergies across the territory.
