The Circular Built Environment Hub (CBE Hub) of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft hosted the first Summer School on Circularity in the Built Environment from 10 to 12 July 2022.

Forty international students from all levels of education (BSc, MSc), PhD researchers and professionals participated in the 3-day intensive workshops that focused on the topic of scales in the context of the area of Binckhorst.

Day 1 was dedicated to getting to know Binckhorst with an organised visit to the area as it provided the canvas for our reasoning about scales. The mornings of day 2 and 3 were dedicated to lectures from a selected number of guests. The afternoons participants were given the opportunity to work together to contextualize this input specifically for Binckhorst and to further identify circular scenarios for its future development.
