CS at the City-Pier-City run in The Hague
Researchers of Software Technology and Intelligent Systems teamed up to represent the TU Delft in the City-Pier-City run in The Hague. After a joint warming-up, the 10km team of six colleagues (Shreyan, Mathijs, Arie, Anna, Oussama and Laurens) kicked off. Later, the half marathon team (Ujwal, Tilman, Bart, Ali, Paul and Kim) started their adventure towards Scheveningen. Everyone finished the run within an impressive time, with a special highlight for the numbers one of each team, Shreyan and Kim.
The weather conditions were perfect for a solid race, but also the running workshop that was given by our colleague Noah (a professional runner) helped us to fly to the finish line.
After the run we shared our experiences in the business pavilion at the Malieveld. We all had a lot of fun (and a bit of pain) during the race and celebrated the team effort! What's next? We already talked about future running adventures and this story might be continued at the Golden Ten Run in Delft (you can sign up via Prometheus).
