Mark Neerincx keynote at the Warm Technology conference in Eindhoven

On June the 27th Mark Neerincx gave a keynote at the Warm Technology conference on “Social AI for People with Dementia (PwD): Making meaningful connections”. Illustrated with several examples, he showed how robots can support PwD in meaningful daily activities (i.e., aligned with their personal values). Robot’s memory model, music provision and conversational strategies help them to connect (1) with the past, present and future, and (2) with themselves (identity), others and their environment.
