Gautham Ram Chandra Mouli winner IEEE IES Under 35 Innovators contest
Assistant Professor Gautham Ram is the winner of the “Under 35 Innovators” IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) contest. He won this price with his design of bidirectional V2G (Vehicle to Grid) PV-EV charger.
For this contest were Young Professional innovators, from any IES field of interest, working on technological innovation and applied research in industrial electronics and industrial informatics areas invited to participate. Researchers, entrepreneurs, and innovators from universities and research centers, start-ups, SMEs, corporations, and non-profit organizations could apply. The intent of the contest was not for student projects, but rather ones either heading to or leading to industry solutions and products.
Gautham received his prize during the IECON 2019 Conference in Lisbon, Portugal.
The contest was sponsored by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society and co-sponsored by the Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS).
