Ward van Helmond

Ward van Helmond is a PhD candidate working on the research project “Fingermarks, beyond the source” at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, TU Delft and the Netherlands Forensic Institute. The research project aims to retrieve more information from fingerprints by analyzing their chemical composition. The goal is to be able to retrieve donor information from fingerprints which are not suitable for comparison.
