Robert Franz

Robert received both his BSc and MSc degrees in chemical engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. During his Master’s studies he completed internships with Syngenta in Basel and BASF in Shanghai. While in Karlsruhe, he wrote his MSc thesis with Prof. Olaf Deutschmann on the oxidative dehydrogenation of butene in a two-zone fluidized bed reactor (TZFBR).

Since 2016 Robert is a PhD student at TU Delft in both the ISE and CE groups. His current work focuses on the dry reforming of methane.
