The young and international Department of Bionanoscience, part of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Delft University of Technology and part of the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience Delft, is dedicated to world-leading research at the interface between nanophysics and biology.

This department was established in 2010 and has expanded to 19 faculty members in 2016 with active areas of research ranging from single-molecule biophysics to cell biology. The number of faculty members is still increasing and is projected to stabilize around 20. Currently, a total of approximately 120 people work in the department, expected to grow to approximately 200. We invite you to look into our job openings.
