Breaking the Waves: The Coastal Dynamics Open Codebook

The Coastal Dynamics Open Textbook (CDOT) has been a valuable resource, with over 15,500 downloads across 41 countries since its 2021 release. Now, TU Delft has taken it a step further with the Coastal Dynamics Open Codebook. Co-developed by lecturers and PhD candidates, this dynamic educational tool offers interactive tutorials, coding exercises, and datasets, designed to help students deepen their understanding of coastal dynamics. 

The Codebook pilot has been a success, inspiring similar transformations in other courses. The platform is set to become a benchmark for dynamic educational resources beyond TU Delft.
