SURF Open and Online Education Stimulus Package
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research together with SURF published the Open and Online Education Stimulus Package to enhance education innovation. This is a grant opportunity for lecturers who would like to improve their teaching quality by using tools and technics or by sharing and reusing materials with their professional community.
Stimulus package consists of two pillars:
Pillar 1: Online Education
Encourage the use of online forms of education.
Annual theme for projects starting in 2022 will be 'the optimal blend': innovating education through the use of ICT, with a well thought through course design at its basis, aiming to achieve an optimal blend of online and on-campus learning activities.
Pillar 2: Open Educational Resources
Encourage the sharing, reuse and development of open educational resources within communities of teachers across institutions.

Internal TU Delft process
TU Delft Education & Student Affairs coordinates the internal process of applying for this grant.
A one pager proposal, which describes the basic idea of your project, should be submitted to teachingacademy email address (see button below to download form).
One-pagers will be reviewed on
- their fit in the scope and conditions of the Stimulus Package (stimuleringsregeling),
- an estimate of the chances of success of the proposal when assessed by the NRO (topic for instance) and
- their fit in the main priorities of TU Delft (such as TU Delft Strategic Framework, Digital Excellence for Education programme, and the Open Science programme) and in other TU Delft developments.
The one-pager proposals that received a positive advice to continue with writing the full proposal will be supported by the Executive Board with a Letter of Intent.
