SPiCE | Students as Partners in Cocreating Education

Teaching Academy brings ‘SPiCE’

The TU Delft Teaching Academy now also has an interfaculty student pool going by the name ‘SPiCE’ (Students as Partners in Cocreating Education). This team is actively involved in exploring educational themes, designing, testing, experimenting and evaluating in education innovations. As a result, SPiCE works on different projects and is involved in different innovation stages. The overall aim is to bring the student perspective to light and to provide the students an active role in cocreating education at the TU Delft.

SPiCE consists of 2 project leads and 10 student members from different bachelors and masters. Together, they take on different projects around the campus (TU-wide challenge). Currently the team is working on 2 projects simultaneously, involving the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in education and the improvement of course evaluation techniques for the Mathematics Summer School for upcoming first year students.

SPiCE consists of left to right, Elize van Dongen, Emma van Dongen, Twan Beekman, Esther de Wit, Albaraa Khalil, Eva Horlings, Alex Yach, Julius Jorna, Sumeia Yassiri, Hanne Bosma, Viktoria Proffen and Casper Sandkuyl (not in picture).
