Bugfixes
Scrolling the pagetree
The introduction of v10 changed the way the pagetree and linkbrowser are displayed. Unfortunately this prohibited the horizontal scrolling in the pagetree.
Since it is necessary to view the entire depth of the pagetree in a site such as TU Delft, we patched this by letting the pagetree be set to your desired width.
Autofilling English categories restored
Due to the new, more strict, way TYPO3 handles all language settings, we lost the synchronisation of categories on the translated versions of a page at the launch of v10. So in the aftermath of this launch, we made sure we patched this behaviour. Whenever you add a category to a page, it will automatically be added to the translated version as well.
URL's with special characters resulted in 404
A minor nuisance, but a nuisance nonetheless; at launch TYPO3 had issues with special characters in urls, so ... we patched it. If your url contains a special character, TYPO3 now knows how to handle it again.
HTML in powermail restored
Powermail is our extension for creating all sorts of forms. And with powermail we could also add in HTML in order to f.e. blend in embedded content. However, in the whole upgrade process, this specific feature was overlooked. Luckily, it has been patched and we can add HTML to our (and your) forms once again.
Margins visible again in page layout
A good example of "you don't know what you're missing until it's gone", was the display of margin values in the page-layout of TYPO3. As you know, you can adjust the top and bottom margins of most elements. In our previous TYPO3 version these adjustments were visibile in the backend as well, making sure you could immediately tell how an element was behaving regarding margins, which was great from a content management point-of-view. However, this feature was no longer available in v10. Since this omission was severely noticed and reported by editors (thank you for your input by the way!), we figured out a way of adding this back in as soon as we could.
Long story short; margins are visible in the page layout once again.
