New Features
Button-element
You may have already spotted them throughout the website; simple buttons.
Although they were already accessible through some minor html-editing, it was clear that adding a button element to our element library would be far more helpful.
Adjustable within the button element you can change the button style, button width, color and text alignment.
Custom 404 page per websection/-domain
The TU Delft website has its own 404-page and although this should be the least visited page, it is essential to have one in order to (essentially) guide website visitors to the correct webpage or point-of-contact.
With all the different websection and -domains a tailormade 404 page can be of extra assistance in achieving this.
If this is something you feel is necessary for your specific websection/-domain, please contact your local content manager.
Custom search page per websection/-domain
The default Search button (the looking glass in the top navigation menu, to be precise) leads to the search page and displays all matches throughout the entire TU Delft website
However, it may be useful to narrow down these possible matches by searching within websection/-domain only.
Ofcourse, this could also be achieved by filtering the results afterwards, but in some cases it can be more useful to narrow down these results up front.
Long story short; we now have the availability of configuring the search button and directing it to specified search pages, other than the default TU Delft search page.
Alphanumerical sorting of dynamic overviews
A minor new feature, but although dynamic content overviews were able to sort the items in various ways, but not (yet) alphanumerically, which gave unwanted sorting results in some cases, such as the building overviews.
If your webpage contains a dynamic content overview and you would like to sort them alphanumerically, please contact your local content manager.
