Interested in joining the Master’s in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics (TIL)? Check out the details below! Admission depends on your educational background and you’ll need to meet both TU Delft’s general admission requirements and the program-specific criteria listed below.

Bachelor students with various profiles may be admitted provided the applicant has sufficient competences at undergraduate level of:
- Linear algebra
- Statistics and probability theory
- Calculus
And in most of the following themes:
- Transport and planning
- Problem analysis
- Operations research
- Operations management
As the programme is taught in English, an adequate level of English language skills (level C1) is essential.

Certain Dutch bachelor’s degree grant direct admission to TIL while other degrees may require following a convergence or bridging programme. Check the tabs below to see what applies to you:
Direct admission with a WO degree
Applicants with one of the following Dutch WO bachelor’s degrees can be directly admitted to the TIL programme; if your Dutch degree is not listed, it will be evaluated for either direct admission or placement in the convergence program.
- Civiele Techniek from Delft University of Technology or University of Twente;
- Econometrie en Operationele Research from Erasmus University Rotterdam, University of Amsterdam, VU Amsterdam, University of Groningen, Tilburg University or Maastricht University;
- Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology or University of Twente;
- Luchtvaart- en Ruimtevaarttechniek from Delft University of Technology;
- Maritieme Techniek from Delft University of Technology;
- Technische Bedrijfskunde from Eindhoven University of Technology, University of Twente or University of Groningen.
- Technische Bestuurskunde from Delft University of Technology;
- Technische Informatica from Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology or University of Twente;
- Technische Natuurkunde from Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology, University of Twente or University of Groningen;
- Technische Wiskunde from Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology, University of Twente or University of Groningen;
- Werktuigbouwkunde from Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology or University of Twente;
Convergence Programme with a WO degree
If you have a Dutch WO degree in the technical science, but you have deficiencies in some subjects, you may be eligible to follow the convergence programme. The convergence programme is catered to the individual needs of each student and consists of 9 EC. The courses are taken during the master’s programme and are counted within the total 120ECs of the Master’s programme.
Bridging Programme with a Dutch HBO degree
Students with a relevant HBO degree are required to follow a bridging programme before enrolling to the Master’s programme. The programme is for one year and must be successfully completed before formally enrolling for the MSc TIL. It is for HBO students and also completely in Dutch.
