Deepening / broadening electives
In Q5, the start of the second year of your master's programme, you have the opportunity to personalise your education programme. At TU Delft we want to encourage you to give direction and shape to your profile yourself. That is why you can choose deepening or broadening elective courses from your own faculty or another faculty. You can also choose to participate in a bigger interdisciplinary project course during this quarter.

Interdisciplinary projects
At TU Delft, we strive to equip you with the intellectual tools to develop responsible engineering solutions for complex societal problems in a rapidly changing multi-actor context. In your professional career, you will work in interdisciplinary project groups, collaborating with people from very different backgrounds.
With the possibility to choose deepening or broadening interdisciplinary projects, you are trained to act successfully in an interdisciplinary environment and to shape your personal path and profile as a flexible AI engineer that can apply DSAIT knowledge to real-world problems with professionals from different backgrounds.
