Why did you choose Applied Earth Sciences?
This study appealed to me when all I knew was that I wanted to go to TU Delft to take a science-related beta study programme! The problem was that I like everything. So when I found Applied Earth Sciences with its diversity, I thought that would be a good choice. After travelling abroad during my gap year, I knew I wanted more opportunities to travel. Applied Earth Sciences provides more than enough of those during the programme and afterwards! Now, after studying Applied Earth Sciences for a year and never being bored, I know one more thing; it was a great choice!

Challenges?
Combining all the fun aspects of student life with studying! Its hard work finishing this study programme inside a reasonable amount of time, especially when you play sports and have other interests too!

What do you want to become?
To be honest, I’m not sure and find it hard to choose. But I’m sure that I want to work abroad for a while and that I’d like a Master’s in Resource Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. But I might still change my mind.

Fun to know?
Delft provides a lot of different opportunities, for sports, for example. There is a student sports club for almost every sport. I’m a member of the rowing club! It’s the perfect combination of sports, meeting people and parties.
